Wash. Phoenix Fastpitch wins Fun in the Sun Invite

The 12U Washington Phoenix Fastpitch Team (shown at right in a courtesy photo) won the 12U title at the 2008 NSA Fun in the Sun Invite held July 26-27 at SERA Field in Tacoma. The tournament championship culminated a 65-plus game season.

The 12U Washington Phoenix Fastpitch Team (shown at right in a courtesy photo) won the 12U title at the 2008 NSA Fun in the Sun Invite held July 26-27 at SERA Field in Tacoma. The tournament championship culminated a 65-plus game season.

The 12U 95’s will be moving up to 14A for the 2008-2009 season and will participate in ASA and NSA tournaments.

14A Washington Phoenix Fastpitch tryouts will be held 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 17 and Aug. 24 at Kilo Middle School, 4400 S. 308th St., Federal Way. Arrive early for registration.
