Holland Crook — The 2010 Beamer grad is playing her junior season at Arizona State University. Crook, a midfielder, was an all-state selection three times in high school, as well as the state player of the year.
Crook scored the first goal of her career on a penalty kick in a 3-0 win over Loyola Marymount Sept. 14 and followed with another goal against Florida International on Sept. 16 at the Cats Classic Tournament in Tucson. For her performance in the two games, Crook was named to the All-Tournament Team.
This season, she has played in all 15 Sun Devil matches and has the two goals and two assists. Arizona State is 6-8-1 on the year.
Last year, Crook played in all 20 of Arizona State’s matches and had a pair of assists. She also earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors.
Jenna Peterson — The Decatur graduate is playing her senior season at Concordia University in Oregon. The defender was forced to redshirt last season after a foot injury. As a junior in 2010, Peterson was named second-team NAIA All-American after Concordia’s defense gave up just seven goals on the season.
This year, Peterson has started all 13 matches and Concordia is 11-0-2. Peterson has two assists. Concordia is the top-ranked NAIA team in the country.
Kelsey Learned — The Thomas Jefferson grad is playing her senior year at the United States Naval Academy in Maryland. The central defender was named Navy’s captain for the season after playing just seven games in 2011 because of injury. Navy is 15-1-1 this season and Learned has played in six matches and has two goals.
Learned started every Patriot League regular season contest during her first two seasons at Navy and scored two goals as a freshman and also had two goals as a sophomore. She has played in 46 career games at Navy, the third most of any active player.
Navy advanced to the Patriot League Championship game in 2011 with a 13-6-3 overall record and a 4-2-1 mark in league play.
Haley Ward — The Federal Way grad is playing her sophomore season at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va. Ward is a midfielder and is second on the team with seven goals and leads the team with four assists. Washington and Lee is 12-2-1 on the season.
Mackenzie Hickel — The 2010 Beamer grad is playing her sophomore season at Boise State University. The midfielder redshirted for the Broncos last season after playing seven matches as a freshman in 2010.
Hickel has played in six matches this season for Boise State, who are 7-8-1. Hickel has one assist.
Avery Salisbury — The Beamer grad is playing her sophomore season at Boise State. The defender played in 17 matches as a freshman, starting seven. This year, Salisbury has played in four matches for the Broncos.
Megan Miller and Jessica Niewoehner — The Beamer grads are both playing for the Oregon State Beavers. Miller, a midfielder, is a senior and Niewoehner is a junior defender.
This season, Miller has started all 15 Beaver matches and leads the team in scoring with five goals and five assists. Oregon State is 10-4-1 on the season. Niewoehner has started eight matches and played in 11 on defense and has one assist.
Kayla Lipston — The Decatur grad is playing her sophomore season at Central Washington. The goalkeeper has started 13 of 14 of the Wildcats’ game this season and has 66 saves and is allowing 1.4 goals a game and has four shutouts. Central is 4-8-2 on the season.
Abby McFaul — The Decatur grad is playing her freshman season at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey. The midfielder is leading the Saints in scoring this season with four goals. McFaul has played in just seven of the Saints’ 14 matches and Saint Martin’s is 6-8-0 on the season.
McFaul was the second-leading scorer for Decatur with four goals and five assists last season.
Molly Campbell — The Federal Way grad is playing her junior season at St. Martin’s University. Campbell, a defender, was an honorable mention All-Greater Northwest Athletic Conference selection a season ago. She has started all 14 Saint Martin’s games this season and has one goal.
Jasmine Brilliante — The Beamer graduate is playing her freshman season at Hawaii-Hilo. Brilliante was a first-team All-SPSL South and all-state selection a year ago after scoring 11 goals for the Titans. Hilo is 3-9-0 on the season and Brilliante has played in one match.
Ashley Graves — The Decatur grad is playing her freshman year at the University of California-Riverside. The forward led the Gators in scoring last year with 13 goals.
So far this season, Graves has played in all 16 games for Riverside and has one goal. Riverside is 5-9-2 on the year.
Nicolette Carnahan — The Thomas Jefferson grad is playing her sophomore season at Whitman College in Walla Walla. Whitman is 2-4-1 on the season. Carnahan has played in two matches.
Nicole Price — The Thomas Jefferson grad is playing her junior year at Willamette University in Salem, Ore. She has played in 13 games this season and started 12 at goalkeeper. Price has made 58 saves and is allowing 1.71 goals a game on the year. Williamette is 5-9-1 overall this season.
Tanisha McGruder — The Federal Way grad is playing her freshman year at Edmonds Community College. McGruder is a defender.
Aja Ybarra — The Jefferson grad is playing her freshman season at Green River. She is a midfielder.
Rachel Niera — The Decatur grad is playing her freshman season at Highline Community College. Neira is a forward and has four goals and three assists.
Ashlyn Bruin — The TJ grad is a freshman goalkeeper on the Green River soccer team.
Allison Snyder — The Decatur grad is playing her freshman season at Shoreline Community College in Seattle. She is a midfielder.
Estrella Rios — The Decatur grad is playing as a freshman at Tacoma Community College. Rios is a defender.
