Jefferson — The Raiders swept away Curtis Thursday in an SPSL Central meet. The TJ boys won, 83-61, and the girls downed the Vikings, 98-52.
On the girls’ side, the Raiders (2-0) got three individual wins from senior Lindsey Dahl in the 100 hurdles (16.47), 300 hurdles (48.40) and long jump (16-10.25). Jefferson’s other wins came from Lindsey Jackson in the 800 (2:31.10), Leah Kiyohara in the 1,600 (2:31.10), Vanessa Church in the 3,200 (11:56.00), Kaya Warrior in the shot put (33-2), Montana Pellegrini in the discus (82-2) and pole vault (10-0), Chevay Warnes in the javelin (75-5) and Courtney Walker in the high jump (4-6).
On the boys’ side, the Raiders (1-1) got double wins from both Kendall Green in the 200 (23.20) and 400 (52.50) and Jefferson Aumua in the shot put (46-6) and discus (111-2).
Other wins came from Thomas Goldingay in the pole vault (9-6) and Gabe Thacker in the 110 hurdles (17.25).
Beamer — The Titans also earned a sweep in an SPSL Central meet against Auburn Thursday. The boys beat Auburn, 81-46, and the girls won, 74-58.
Beamer’s (2-0) wins in the boys’ meet came from Willie Roach in the 100 (11.64), 200 (22.85) and high jump (5-8), Keplar House in the 400 (56.14), Austin Hitchcock in the 110 hurdles (16.45) and 300 hurdles (41.58) and Adrian Shocks in the long jump (20-0) and triple jump (40-3).
On the girls’ side, Beamer (1-1) got wins from Alanna Vann in the 100 (12.73) and 200 (26.28), Chante Sposter in the 400 (1:03.16) and Sydney Rogalla in the long jump (14-3).
Federal Way — The Eagles split their SPSL Central meet with Auburn Riverside Thursday. The boys beat the Ravens, 99-45, while the girls lost, 85-65.
On the boys’ side, Aaron Persinger was a triple winner for the Eagles (2-0). The junior won the 200 meters (23.62), the 110 hurdles (15.77) and the 300 hurdles (40.91). Federal Way’s other wins came from D.J. May in the 100 meters (11.71) and long jump (21-4.5), Mike Tate in the 400 (51.53), Albert Havili in the shot put (49-9) and discus (159-11), D’Londo Tucker in the high jump (5-6) and Mathias Forward in the pole vault (11-0).
On the girls’ side, Federal Way (1-1) got wins from Kayla Jacobus in the 3,200 (13:07.87), Mariyah Vongsaveng in the 300 hurdles (47.58), Luaipou Lologo in the shot put (27-9) and discus (94-3) and Dyesha Belhumeur in the high jump (5-0).
Decatur — Enumclaw swept away the Gators during their SPSL 3A Division meet Wednesday at Federal Way Memorial Stadium. The girls lost, 85-61, and the boys were beaten, 84-56.
The Decatur girls (1-1) got wins from Sierra Shugarts in the 100 (13.72), Jenelta Yates in the 400 (1:03.52), Taryn Schreiner in the 3,200 (12:43.55), Nicole Jowett in the javelin (70-8), Victoria Braun in the pole vault (9-0) and Desi Kamm in the triple jump (32-1).
On the boys’ side, Decatur (1-1) got a triple-win from senior Drew Thompson in the long jump (18-9), high jump (6-0) and 110 hurdles (15.92). The Gators’ other wins came from Jonathan Osborne in the triple jump (35-5), Jordan Wernet in the shot put (46-11), Terrance Taumua in the 300 hurdles (46.41) and Dalvin Yarbrough in the 400 (53.02).
