Junior Emma Blauser had a huge day for the Todd Beamer Titans Thursday during a 10-3 win over the Curtis Vikings.
Blauser threw a complete game, striking out eight and allowing just six hits and also finished 3 for 5 at the plate with a double and three runs for the Titans.
Beamer tallied two runs in the top of the third inning, but Curtis responded with three runs of its own in the bottom of the inning to take a 3-2 lead.
The Titans, however, erupted for five runs in the fifth and added three more in the seventh to pick up the win. Curtis was hurt by six errors on the day.
The win improved Beamer to 3-1 in the South Puget Sound League South Division and 4-1 overall. The Titans sit in third place behind Spanaway Lake (3-0) and Rogers (4-1).
