The fourth-ranked Decatur Gators boys soccer team handed the sixth-ranked Wilson Rams their first blemish of the season Tuesday night when the two teams played to a 2-2 tie.
The Rams (7-0-1) jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead on the Gators in the non-league contest with a pair of goals in the first 30 minutes of the first half.
But Decatur (7-1-1) battled back to cut the lead to 2-1 on a goal by striker Michael Klavuhn in the 34th minute. The goal was Klavuhn’s 15th of the season in just nine games.
Jimmy Hong tallied the tying goal in the 70th minute for the Gators. Wilson actually outshot Decatur, 15-8, on the night.
Beamer — The Titans played Curtis to a 2-2 tie Tuesday night. Beamer’s goals came from Jong Paek and Keaton House.
The tie moves the Titans’ record to 3-4-2 on the season.

Doubles — Breanna Ziccarelli-Krista Nakamura, TJ, beat Sara Suznevich-Jessica Lancaster, 6-0, 6-3; Toni Mullen-Rileigh Qualls, TJ, beat Alex Nieman-Carson Heilborn, 7-5, 6-2; Coco Hernandez-Tagoe-Gloria Oh, TJ, beat Brenna Bruil-Jillian Stanpeter, 6-2, 6-3.
Jefferson is now 4-0 in league play.
BASEBALL
Decatur — The Gators (3-10) have three wins this season and all three have come against the Lakes Lancers. Decatur downed Lakes Tuesday, 4-3.
Janson Junk threw six innings and struck out nine to get the win on the mound. Junk was also 2 for 3 with an RBI and double. Brett Johnson finished 2 for 3 for the Gators.
Beamer — The Titans (6-5) were beaten up by Puyallup Tuesday, 13-1 in six innings. Beamer had only three hits off Matt Becker.
Federal Way — The Eagles (5-5) were beaten by Bethel Tuesday, 9-3. Federal Way’s Zack Hobbs finished 2 for 4 with two runs, Evan Elliot was 2 for 3 with an RBI and double and Rylan Cratsenberg had an RBI and double.
Jefferson — The Raiders (5-3) were beaten by Kentlake Tuesday, 14-4. Jefferson had only two hits and Nico DelaCruz finished 1 for 2 with two RBIs.
SOFTBALL
Jefferson — The Raiders (5-3) lost a heart-breaker to the Kentlake Falcons Tuesday, 5-4. Kentlake tallied three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to overcome a 4-2 deficit.
Michaela Patton finished 2 for 3 with two RBIs and Alex Rodriguez was 2 for 3 with a run for Jefferson. Katie Jackson picked up the loss on the mound.
Federal Way — The Eagles (0-4) lost to Emerald Ridge Tuesday, 18-2. Laura Brown and Jayme Scanson both finished 2 for 3 at the plate and Scanson scored both of Federal Way’s runs.
