The Decatur High School girls swim team faced off against Federal Way on Thursday for their first swim meet of the year. Federal Way triumphed over Decatur with a final score of 117-62. Federal Way swimmer Keely Craig placed first in both the 200-yard medley relay and the 400- and 500-yard freestyle relay. Both Kayla Ramey and sisters Kaia and Eva Barth placed in the top three for many of the competitions.

Federal Way will face Todd Beamer on Sept. 17. Decatur will go up against Curtis the same day.
