It was kind of a forgone conclusion, but the top-ranked Federal Way secured the South Puget Sound League South Division championship Friday night with a blowout of Beamer, 72-26.
The win moved the Eagles to 15-0 in the SPSL South and 18-1 overall with one game remaining in the regular season. Federal Way will take on the top seed from the SPSL North at 6:30 p.m. at Kent’s Showare Center Friday for the league’s top seed to the West Central District Tournament.

The top-five teams qualify for the West Central District Tournament.
