Decatur High School’s Spencer Sugg, baseball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for April 13.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Math and engineering

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: Baseball, golf, wrestling

A: My dad, John Sugg, and my uncle, Mike Sugg

From the sideline: Spencer has been off to a great start for the Gators in 2018. He is currently hitting .667 in 12 at-bats, and has an on-base percentage of .765, currently leading the NPSL in both categories, and has six stolen bases in eight attempts. He has also been tough on the mound so far for the Gators with a 0.00 ERA in four innings pitched. Defensively for the Gators, Spencer has recorded three putouts as a catcher and another two in the outfield. Spencer also carried a 3.625 GPA for the Gators in the first semester.
