Decatur High School boys golfer Sean Gonzales was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Oct. 6.

“Sean battled hard in the Sept. 21 match vs. Auburn Mountainview,” Decatur boys coach Jon Angell said. “He was only one shot off the low score of the day with a round of 42, placing second individually at this match. His performance scored 13 points for the Decatur team. As team captain, Sean has done an excellent job leading the program with his performance on the course along with great motivational words/encouragement to teammates before and during each match.”
