Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Prostart cooking class.
Q: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of your sport?
A: Baseball, basketball, reading and watching movies.
Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?
A: My Dad, Dan Afework.
Q: If you could have dinner with anyone (living or from the past), who would it be? Why?
A: Michael Jordan because he’s one of the greats and I would like to have a conversation with him.
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual:
A: I have something to eat, stretch and get going.
Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?
A: “Clair De Lune” by Claude Debussy.
From the Sidelines: FWHS senior Isaiah Afework has had a great season to date. For the week of April 24 to April 29, Isaiah hit .455, three RBI’s, two doubles, and three stolen bases. Combined with his pre-, in-game, and post-game leadership, Isaiah is one of the main reasons this team has been as successful as it has been this year.
