Federal Way High School sophomore Luke Forsman, cross country, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Nov. 1.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: AICE – Calculus mechanics and history.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: Soccer, cross country, snow skiing, honor society.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Dad – Arnie Forsman.
Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:
A: “Hard work or putting in the extra effort will pay off over time.”
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal.
A: Pray before every competition. Favorite meal is corned beef.

A: Does not have one.
From the sideline: FWHS sophomore Luke Forsman is participating in his first season of cross country. Since the beginning of the season, he has shaved one minute and 10 seconds off his 5K (3.1 miles) time. This season, Luke continues to challenge himself every day and works hard to achieve his goals. The coaches see his passion and drive for the sport as an inspiration for this team.
