Todd Beamer High School senior Nick Gunn, swim and dive, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Jan. 10.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Math.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: I love to run, and play and listen to music.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: All of my coaches, especially coach Kelly in dive.

Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:

A: “Don’t let your past mistakes affect your present and future.”

Q: Describe your pre­-game ritual and favorite post-game meal.

A: Pre-game I eat oatmeal and my post-game meal is a cheeseburger.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Classic” by MKTO.

From the sideline: TBHS senior Nick Gunn has been a swim team leader for many years. His hard work and dedication has helped him succeed in diving. This year Nick has added some swim events to help the team compete. He is always a great teammate and ambassador for the sport.
