Thomas Jefferson High School senior Aaron Oh, swimming, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Feb. 25.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Science.
Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: Playing basketball and hanging out with friends.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Coach Tori Head.
Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given when it comes to your sport?
A: Swim every race like it’s your last.
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal?
A: Pre-game: Listening to “IndiGO” by JUSTHIS. Post-game meal: alfredo pasta.
Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?
A: “History Is Made At Night” by Huckleberry P.
From the sidelines: Aaron is an excellent example of a student athlete. He excels in the classroom with a full IB schedule. He carries the same determination as a swimmer. Aaron is always the first swimmer in the pool and is always looking to improve. Aaron set personal best times in the 50 freestyle and competed in three relays at state.
