From the sidelines: TBHS junior Avion McLemore embraces the team element of track and field. He works hard to be his best at not only his individual events — the pole vault and the high jump — but also volunteers to run on relay teams when needed. At track meets, coaching staff always hear positive things from Avion toward the competition and himself. He exemplifies the values of sportsmanship and personal growth that Todd Beamer officials hope student-athletes develop when participating in track and field.
