Athlete of the Week:
Federal Way High School’s Carter Berry, boys golf, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Oct. 5.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Marketing.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?
A: Baseball, golf, video games, sleeping, watching TV.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Bart Turchin and Lance Gill – golf coaches.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: Post – victories team dinner, pre – hit balls at the range, chip, and then putt prior to the first tee.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

From the sideline: Carter has been a leader on our team this year as a junior. He has been a medalist in each of our matches this year. In matches against Beamer and Decatur, Carter shot 1-under in both matches.
