Todd Beamer High School’s Lillie Lyons, gymnastics, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for March 2.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: AP literature and Leadership

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: ASB/Leadership, mentor, running, journaling, yoga

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My coaches, Cassie and Jen, and Mr. Obungen, Mrs. Mongrain, Nicole Callopy

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: “Mindfulness” meditation before every meet

From the Sideline

Lilly is a three-time state qualifier. Her freshman year, she qualified for balance beam. Her junior year, she qualified for all-around. Her senior year, she qualified for vault, bars, beam and floor. She was the All-City all-around champion two years in a row, for her junior and senior years, and captain for two years.
