Todd Beamer High School’s Kawehionalani Sharpe, fastpitch, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for May 25.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Math.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: Volleyball and softball outside of school.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My dad.

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: I listen to some hyped-up music before warm-ups.

A: “Walk It, Talk It,” by Migos.

From the sideline: Sharpe, a sophomore, has played stellar defense at third base all season for Todd Beamer High School. A highlight came in mid-April when she went 7-9 with five RBIs with two home runs for the week.
