From the sidelines : Jimena has been an amazing leader for the XC team this season! She has taken on a leadership role that has helped the girls team have a lot of success this season. Jimena has created a fun team atmosphere and is constantly encouraging her teammates as they get better each week. As an individual runner, Jimena has set lifetime PRs in every race she has been in so far this season. Jimena recently set a 5K lifetime best of 20:27 at the Hole in the Wall Invitational. This time ranks Jimena #11 on the All Time FWHS Girls XC list. Jimena will continue to play a key role on the team as the girls squad heads into the postseason. She will also look to challenge for the All City Individual Champion title this Wednesday.
