Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Oct. 21: Ashlynn Lettice

FWHS junior is captain of the girls soccer team.

Federal Way High School junior Ashlynn Lettice, soccer, 11th grade, is the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Oct. 21.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Chemistry.

Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Hang out with friends, listening to music, community service activities.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Dad – Hal Lettice.

Q: If you could have dinner with anyone (living or from the past), who would it be? Why?

A: The band Muse. I was a fan of their music growing up through childhood, and they are a band that helped form a strong connection between me and my dad.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual:

A: Listen to a set playlist, and I always do everything in the same order from getting dressed to warming-up.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “All of the Lights” by Kanye West.

From the sidelines: Junior Ashlynn Lettice deserves recognition for her outstanding efforts in goal for the Federal Way girls soccer team. As team captain, she leads her team on and off the field. Her tireless effort in goal is inspiring and exciting to watch, making athletic and brilliant saves in goal throughout the season. She has had a positive and lasting impact for the team all season long.
