Todd Beamer High School senior Al-Nisa Lewis, gymnastics, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for March 6.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Forensic science.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: Hang out with friends, workout and enjoy time with family and friends.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My coaches and family.
Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:
A: “Lose the attitude and be happy doing something you love.”

A: Laughing with friends and having fun.

From the sideline: Todd Beamer senior Al-Nisa Lewis has been a team leader this year and is one of the team’s top vaulters and floor gymnasts. Her energy and enthusiasm has led the Titans to a great season. Her work in gymnastics, volleyball and track is appreciated and is respected for the level of hard work she puts in. Al-Nisa was a state qualifier this year in vault and competed at the WIAA 4A state meet on Feb. 22.
