From the Sidelines:

Jahayra has had an outsized positive impact on the team this season by virtue of the positivity she brings to every situation. At practice, she provides levity during conditioning. She is supportive and encouraging of younger, newer players and a supportive, enthusiastic cheerleader for her peers. Although she is less experienced at the technical skills than some players on the squad, she makes up for this with the same positivity she demonstrates for others — every piece of feedback or correction is greeted with a sometimes surprising level of verve, making it clear that she views it, not as a failing on her part, but an opportunity for growth!

Viewed in concert with her hustle on the court, this hunger to improve and her resolute determination to get her racquet on every ball means that she leaves absolutely nothing off the court. She has already made huge gains in her game this season, and will surely continue to help her team in both securing victories and improving themselves.
