Thomas Jefferson High School sophomore Keyanna Surratt, gymnastics, is the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 6.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Math.

Q: What additional hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Club gymnastics.

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: My grandma.

Q: What’s the best advice you’ve been given when it comes to your sport?

A: You cant complain that you don’t have something if you don’t try for it.

Q: Describe your pre-meet ritual and post-meet meal:

A: Pre: Lots of music. Post: Chipotle.
