Decatur High School senior Natalie Hansen, bowling, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 17.

A: Urban agriculture.

A: Pre-game ritual – Talking with friends and being happy. Post-game meal – pasta.

From the sideline: Decatur High School senior Natalie Hansen is one of the captains and leaders of the Decatur girls bowling team who recently earned a second consecutive North Puget Sound League championship title. She is leading the team in several statistical categories. Head coach Mike David said Natalie has risen to the challenge in Decatur’s most competitive matches. Natalie has participated the last two years in the WIAA 4A State bowling tournament. Last season she placed 32nd among individual participants. She is looking forward to earning a scholarship and continuing to bowl in college.
