Thomas Jefferson High School senior Georgia Bell, cheer, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Feb. 25.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Ethnic studies.
Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: Being with my family and friends.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My dad. He always pushed me even when I didn’t want anything to do with it.
Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given when it comes to your sport?
A: Practice how you play. Play like someone’s watching.
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal?
A: Pre-game: Red Bull, Mentos and hot fries while wearing PJ pants and my Raider hat on. Post-game meal: Anything home-cooked.
Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?
A: “Enter Sandman” by Metallica.
From the sidelines: Georgia is a four-year squad member and nominated as team captain by her team for two years. Previously, Georgia has cheered for the Federal Way Hawks, and plans to cheer at Oregon State University. Georgia is part of our school leadership team and participates in our mentor program. Georgia is a role model to her fellow scholars and sets an example of what it means to be a scholar-athlete.
