Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: My favorite class right now is communication 101.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: I love photography, playing the ukulele, coaching gymnastics and mostly hanging out with friends.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Not one person really, rather a group of people. My amazing family and friends who support me through all my athletic achievements. I would like to give a big shout out to my coaches, past and present, who have helped me to be who I am today.

Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?

A: Listening to good music, drinking coffee, and visualizing my routine before I compete.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Happier” by Marshmello.

From the sideline: Junior Madison Heck has been a team leader for Beamer’s gymnastics program all season. She had a great showing at districts last week, qualifying for state on bars, beam and floor. This is Madison’s third consecutive year qualifying for state.
