Decatur High School senior Ciana Nolasco, gymnastics, is the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Dec. 30.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Student store.

Q: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of your sport?

A: Traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: My parents because they have supporting me in my journey.

Q: If you could have dinner with anyone (living or from the past), who would it be?

A: Tom Holland because he plays my favorite superhero, Spiderman.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual:

A: I stretch and cheer on my teammates.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: I like listening to anything by Dean or Keshi.

From the sidelines: Decatur senior Ciana Nolasco placed eighth in All-Around competition in Decatur’s first NPSL gymnastics meet. Her top performance came on the beam earning a 8.20 score. Ciana will be a four-year varsity letter award winner filling the role as captain this season. In the classroom, Ciana has also been outstanding earning a 4.00 cumulative GPA and ranked number 1 out of 269 in her class. She is involved in several activity clubs at Decatur including Vice President of DECA, Asian Club and Computer Science Club.
