Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Literature with Ms. Winslow.
Q: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of your sport?
A: Taking care of my pets and hanging out with my cousin and my boyfriend.
Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?
A: My Mom, Dad and sister.
Q: What is the best advice you were ever given when it comes to your sport?
A: “Doubt is your biggest barrier.”
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-meet meal.
A: Pre: Make sure I have both of my throwing shoes! Post-meet meal: Buffalo Wild Wings.
From the sidelines: TJHS junior Lia Saucedo is the No. 1 ranked javelin thrower in the North Puget Sound League with a season-best of 106’6”. She also has an impressive 3.95 cumulative GPA as a junior.
