Thomas Jefferson forward Josiah Presley was nominated for the Federal Way Mirror Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 26 to Dec. 30.
Presley started for the Raiders during their 65-64 overtime loss to 3A opponent Tyee. In the loss, Presley led Jefferson with 16 points and three rebounds.
Like most of his teammates, this is the junior’s first full season with varsity.
“He’s definitely making the most of it,” Thomas Jefferson coach Sudon DeSuze said. “He’s a good shooter. He can shoot from range and inside, and that’s exactly what you want.”
Presley was impressive earlier in the season during a tough loss to Federal Way. He once again led the Raiders in scoring with eight points and two rebounds.
