If the North Puget Sound League gave an award for the Sixth Man of the Year, Federal Way forward Etan Collins would be the clear winner.
Collins was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 30 to Feb. 4.
Collins, a junior forward, was impressive for the Eagles despite the team’s 69-59 loss to Kentwood in the 4A North Puget Sound League title game. He finished with 11 points and four rebounds and shot 5 of 8 from the field.
Collins is averaging 11.7 points per game as the Eagles sixth man.
The Athlete of the Week is sponsored by Stacks, Eagle Tire and Federal Way Public Schools.
