Federal Way High School junior Jessica Kuhn is ready for her second year of bowling.

“I played for the first time last year after it became a sport at our school,” she said. “I’d never played bowling before so I thought I’d give it a try.”

Coach Joe Haworth listed Kuhn as one of his strong returners for the season.

“We are a brand new team so we didn’t have any wins this year as we were still learning,” he said. “But our prediction for this year is to pick up a few wins hopefully.”

There are 18 bowlers on the team. Kuhn’s best score this season is a 187.
