Enumclaw High School beat Federal Way in girls tennis 3-2 on Monday.
Federal Way’s Oliva Chong won the No. 1 singles match against Enumclaw’s Natalie Christensen 6-0, 6-1. In the No. 2, signles match, Federal Way’s Jillian Chong defeated Enumclaw’s Taylor Thompson 6-1, 6-0.
Enumclaw swept in doubles play. Enumclaw’s Mikayla Olsen and Emma McKeighen beat Federal Way’s Fulina Tran and Hannah Kim in No. 1 doubles 6-2, 6-1. In No. 2 doubles, Camryn Hayett and Emily Miller, of Enumclaw, won against Istahil Yussuf and Eden Beyene, of Federal Way, 6-0, 6-1. In the No. 3 doubles match Enumclaw’s Lauren Bone and Anna Sanderus defeated Federal Way’s Tamara Saeteum and Monica Roman 6-0, 6-1.
