Results

• Main event: Daniel Stewart defeated Kyle Keeney in a unanimous decision after going the five-round distance. Both fighters grappled and scrapped, although Stewart appeared more mellow and in control amid Keeney’s occasional taunts and wild swings. “I got someone at my caliber and it was his night tonight,” Keeney said post-fight, saying that Stewart outwrestled him. “I got tossed around a lot, which is usually what I do to opponents.” After getting a pair of cuts stitched up, Stewart said Keeney gave him a good match. “I was just trying to pace myself, just trying to get the win,” Stewart said.

• Semi-main event: Tyson Nam earned a unanimous decision over Chanti Johnson after going the three-round distance. Nam seemed to have the edge and employed explosive combos that kept Johnson off-balance.

• Julian Erosa defeated Ernesto Toscano with a unanimous decision after going the three-round distance. After a low-key start, the fight picked up speed in the second round as Erosa punched away  and delivered a few flying knees, while Toscano landed a few roundhouse kicks.

• Mike Chiesa defeated Darrell Fenner by rear naked choke at 30 seconds in round one — another quick fight on the evening.

• Sam Sicilla, with an impressive right hook, defeated Josiah Mitchell at 29 seconds in round one with a quick KO.

• Robert Malphrus defeated Byron Sutton after the ref stopped the fight at 32 seconds in round two. The first round saw both fighters delivering big takedowns and kicking ass until the bell. “Bring me back. I’ll make it better next time, I promise,” Malphrus told the crowd afterward.

• Tyson Johnson defeated Justin Gardner with a TKO as the ref called the fight due to strikes at 1:18 in the first round. Johnson had pinned Gardner and delivered a rapid succession of punches to the head. Johnson became the first five-time winner in CageSport history.

• Ryan Mulvihill defeated Brad Prather after the ref stopped the fight at 1:54 in the first round when Mulvihill applied an effective rear naked choke. “I’m ready for the title shot,” he told the crowd afterward, referencing three previous first-round wins.

• Sean Villalva defeated Jorey Taylor via a triangle choke at 2:35 in round three. Both fighters broke free multiple times from each other’s holds, including a vicious arm bar attempt by Taylor in the second round. Villalva, winning his pro debut, eventually forced the tappet by Taylor after a good fight.

• Harrison Bevens defeated Brad Nordquist with an arm triangle choke at 4:38 in round one. In his pro debut, Bevens relied on grappling and jujitsu techniques to force the tapout from Nordquist, who was fighting in a new weight class.
