Brent Brilhante was hired as the boys basketball coach at Todd Beamer High School on April 15.

Brilhante previously coached the Titans from 2008-2010.

The Titans reached the state playoffs for the first time under Brilhante in 2008-09. He resigned after the 2009-10 season due to personal reasons.

Brilhante takes over for Winston Bell, who helped lead the Titans to the state semifinals in 2014.

That team would have the highest placing in school history after finishing fifth in 4A. Beamer finished 12-12 with a 6-2 record in league play this season. They placed second in the SPSL Northwest.

The Titans made it to the West Central District Tournament this past season where they were eliminated by Bellarmine Prep.
