The Federal Way Mirror Athlete of the Week feature section highlights two athletes from a Federal Way high school each week.

To kick off this year’s Athlete of the Week series, the cheer teams from Decatur and Federal Way are in the spotlight. Check back next week to see Thomas Jefferson and Todd Beamer’s teams.

Voting for the Athlete of the Year is held in spring with an awards celebration event held in June 2023.
