Federal Way High School graduate Andre Piper-Jordan has been named to the 2011 All-Indoor Football League Team by the IFL.
Piper-Jordan is a wide receiver for the Seattle Timberwolves.
On the season, Piper-Jordan caught 55 passes for 987 yards in 14 games. Piper-Jordan also had 22 touchdown catches and averaged 17.9 yards per reception.
“He’s a physical receiver that has an uncanny knack for making plays,” said Timberwolves head coach Sean Ponder. “He has made some of the best catches this year and seemed to be on the top-10 plays of the week in the IFL every week.”
The Indoor Football League’s first-team offense included only eight players and Piper-Jordan was one of only three receivers to receive the honor. He was also the only Seattle player to be named to the first-team.
The Timberwolves finished 5-9 on the season in the Pacific Division. The Fairbanks Grizzlies won the division with a 10-4 record. They play their home games at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
