Citizens of Federal Way: I attended the Federal Way City Council meeting regarding the 7.75 percent utility tax on our residents. Most of all the people who spoke on this issue voiced a no on this tax. Two council members wanted to negotiate with Lakehaven Water and Sewer District, and the rest of them had their minds made up and did not listen to the citizens. The council voted to move forward with the utility tax.
