More politicians like Miloscia needed

I would like to respond to the question asked by Jim Grayson in his letter to the editor, “Why do Republicans attack media for reporting facts?”

I think I can answer that. In many cases, unfortunately, our media is offering opinion, not fact. Add to that some very biased slants to new stories. Sometimes, the most important stories are on page 5 or 6 instead of page 1 or 2, where they belong.

In regards to Sen. Mark Miloscia, it is interesting to note that he was rarely criticized when he was a Democrat. He has always been pro-life but never anti-woman. The left would like us to believe otherwise, of course.

Yes, I admit, I am one of the “Gullible Old People” that Mr. Grayson refers to in his letter.

As a matter of fact, I am 81 years old, and over the years, I have seen a lot of politicians come and go.

We should consider ourselves lucky to have a man of such character and integrity representing us in the Senate. I wish we had more like him.
