William “Bill” Jackson, 86, formerly of Federal Way passed away on July 16, 2010. Bill was born in Tacoma, WA on November 23, 1923. He attended Puyallup High School. He married Shirley Woodruff. The family home was on Steel Lake next door to the Barker Homestead, an original Federal Way pioneer. He was a parole officer for the State of Washington for 20 years. He enjoyed many pastimes all related to the great outdoors. He is survived by his son Bruce and daughter Gail and was preceded in death by his wife Shirley and his son Mark. An informal gathering will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 2–4 p.m. at Steel Lake Park.
