William “Bill” J. Scholz, 81, Passed away after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Bridgeport, CT.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Kathleen; two children and their spouses Mark (Dawn) and Caroline (David).

Bill enjoyed spending time with his four adorable grandchildren and his two amazing great grandchildren.

He spent two years in the U.S. Army during the German Occupation. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired after 20 years. He then went on to retire from Boeing.

He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife via plane, train, automobile and ship. He enjoyed wood working and reading. He became the family genealogist.

A private service was held at Tahoma National Cemetery.

He will be forever in the hearts of those he touched.
