Toni Jeanne (Good) Keselburg was born September 5, 1946 in Greensburg, PA and passed away at her home in Auburn, WA on January 26, 2019.
In 1961, Toni left Pennsylvania with her parents, David and Jeanne Good and her brother Charles (Chuck) Good. They moved to the Federal Way area when her father took a job with the Boeing Company.
After graduating from Federal Way High School in 1965, Toni worked as a “Spare Parts Analyst” for Boeing from 1965. In 1969, she left the Boeing Company to become a school bus driver for Federal Way Public Schools. Toni and her mother, Jeanne Good became the first mother/daughter driving team in the school district. She drove bus until August of 1972, when she went to work, for a short time, as a secretary for Harley Davidson. In 1974, Toni was rehired to the Boeing Company as an “Expediter”. This is where she worked for the next 27 years before retiring in 2001.
After Toni retired, her life truly began. She travelled, spent time with family and made friends wherever she went. You’d often hear about her “buzzing” around town, running errands for herself and others. She enjoyed meeting up with old and new friends for lunch or dinner. Her friends and family were the most important thing to her. However, she was most proud of her grandson, Mason. Whether it was going fishing or eating pumpkin pie at home, she spent as much time with him as possible. “Nana”, as everyone called her, attended many T-Ball games, football games, karate and wrestling tournaments. She was the “chauffer” to many and the friend you could always count on.
Toni loved sports (football was her favorite). She enjoyed going to concerts, playing cards and crocheting. She has made and gifted over 300 afghans to the many friends, children and babies for whom she cared deeply for. Her warmth, generosity and kindness will always be remembered.
Toni is survived by her son, Kurt Keselburg; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; grandson, Mason; her brother, Chuck Good (Linda); Nieces, Yvonne Yount and Darcy Klute (Wayne) and Dara Mandeville, who Toni often referred to as “her daughter.” Toni is also survived by ANYONE who loved her and the many lives she has touched throughout her 72 years.
