Thomas Brinson Paul of Federal Way died July 9 at his home. He was 53.

Born July 5, 1949 in Richmond, Va., he worked as a network engineer for Weyerhaeuser and Starbucks.

He is survived by his sister, Suzanne Paul Ingersoll of Norfolk, Va.; a brother, Edward Paul of Tappahanock, Va.; and his mother, Antoinette D. Paul of Richmond, Va.
