Thelma Woodward Dalton died of cancer Dec. 13 in Federal Way. She was 87.

She was born Sept. 8, 1918 in Preston, Idaho.

She lived most of her life in Utah, where she ran a well drilling business with her husband, to whom she was married for 25 years.

Survivors include her children —— Janet Rumel of Federal Way, Jon and Darrel of Texas, and Richard and Diane of Utah; a sister, Joyce Dickason of Seattle; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Burial will be in Salt Lake City, Utah.
