Ruby M. Drake died April 22. She was 97.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1908 in La Porte County, Indiana. She was the daughter of a Civil War veteran.

She had lived in Federal Way at Evergreen Lodge for six months at the time of her death.

Survivors include daughters June Farrington of Entiat, Wash. and Dorothy Goodman of Las Vegas, Nev., five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
