Richard Stanley Ferris Sr, a longtime Federal Way resident, died April 17 at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He was 60.

He was born Oct. 14, 1942 in Webster, Mass., and worked as a master carpenter at Boeing for 25 years before retiring in March.

Survivors include his children —— Tracy Liberty, Rick Ferris, Tamara Ferris and Ranen Ferris,; brothers Michael Ferris and Stanley Ferris, both of Massachusetts; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service is set for 6 p.m. April 26 at the Pacific Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 211 Third Ave. SW., in Pacific.
