Marjorie Ann deMers passed away in her home in Federal Way on July 18, 2023. Marge called the beautiful Pacific NW her home for nearly 60 years. She was born in Missoula Montana in 1936 to Alfred and Helen

Spaulding. She spent her first years as the only child on the Falls Church, Idaho Ranger Station where her best pals were a mule she named Maggi e Maupin and the cook who treated her with cookies. The Forest Service transferred the family to Sand Point Idaho where she completed her early school years before the family was transferred to Colville Washington after the war for middle school and then o n back to Missoula, Montana for high school and College. She met her husband Harrison deMers in college and married before graduation and started married life with an adventure on an air base in Rabat, Morocco.

Marge is survived by so many family and clo se friends. Marge was the family’s shining star, and all feel so fortunate sharing their lives with this special person who just radiated joy.

A memorial service will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday August 12th, 2023 at Steel Lake Presbyterian Church, 3415 South 320th Street Federal Way, WA
