Jo Ann Turner, 83, was born April 30th, 1940, in The Dalles, OR, to Roberta and Chester “Buzz” Dyer of Mayville, OR. She passed away peacefully in her home June 28th, 2023.

She grew up on the family farm in Mayville, OR, graduating from Condon High School in 1958, and married the love of her life,

Walter “Bill” Turner, on February 2nd, 1957. Together they raised three children in Federal Way, WA after moving there in 1969.

Jo Ann was a devoted and loving wife. She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, cooking, sewing, crafts, gardening, and family gatherings, including Dyer picnics and Rinehart family reunions.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Dyer, and sister Mary Romer. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Walter, son Chet Turner (Starlet), daughter Peggy Loftus (Guy Beard), daughter Tammy Dolan (Tim), grandchildren, Chester, Debbie, Amber, Starla, Austin, Kym, Betty Jo, Rachel, and 15 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Brooklake Church, 629 S 356th St, Federal Way, WA 98003 at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 31st, 2023.
