Jeffrey Robert Ka- vanaugh, beloved husband, son/SIL, brother/ BIL, uncle, and friend, passed away at home on 2/2/2022. Jeff was born on January 22nd, 1969, in Seattle to parents Robert and Bonnie Kavanaugh. He grew up with brother Matthew Kavanaugh in FederalWay, where he graduated from Federal Way High School in 1987. He went to college at WSU and graduated with a degree in Computer Science.

He married his wife Shannon on April 22nd, 2000. They lived in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle for many years beforemoving to Jeff ’s final home on Martha Lake. Shannon and Jeff lived a full life together…enjoying Camp K in the Okanogan, traveling the world, and spending time at the beach. Jeff started his career as a Software Developer but ended it as a General Contractor — a job he felt better suited him. He left a beautiful legacy in both this lake and beach houses. Jeff also loved to fish, hunt, and play pool …especially if he could do those things with friends and family.

He is survived by wife Shannon; parents Bob and Bonnie; his brother Matt; his treasured nieces and nephews Brian, Janelle, Mark, Rian, Mason, Spencer, Kameron, Thomas, Taylor, and Tatum; and his biggest joy later in life, greatnephew Beau.

He was known to be a truly wonderful, generous man and will be terribly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on 2/22/22 at Lake Forest Park Civic Club, 17301 Beach Dr NE, Lake Forest Park,WA. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to www.endbraincancer.org.
