Jean Brazeal of Federal Way died Dec. 29.
She was born in 1929 in Nebraska.
She moved to Idaho, where she married Robert Brazeal on Aug. 9, 1947.
They lived in Vale, Ore. for three years, then Gering, Neb., where she started her career in banking.
In 1974, they moved to the Seattle area. She worked for banks in Seattle and Bellevue, eventually retiring to travel to California, Maui, Honolulu and Alaska with her husband, as his construction job building McDonald’s restaurants required.
More than 15 years ago, they settled at Kloshe Illahee in Federal Way, where she was the horseshoe champion.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert; a son, Ronald Brazeal of Canada; a daughter, Carol Shapiro of Arizona; brothers and sisters Donna, Ines, Deloris, Linda, Clyde and Carl; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Jan. 6 at the Kloshe Illahee clubhouse.
At the request of the family, memorials may be made to the Northwest Kidney Foundation, P.O. Box 3035, Seattle, WA 98114.
