Irma T.A. Fry of Federal Way died Sept. 27.

She was 81.

She was born Jan. 29, 1922, in Kaiserslautern, Germany to Johannes and Auguste Gebhardt.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert W. Fry of Federal Way; a daughter, Linda Melander of Kent; sisters Gerda Schubert and Martha Probeck of Germany; a brother, Herbert Gebhardt, of Germany; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Oct. 3 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. They were followed by a memorial service at Covington Memorial Services Center.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Seattle.
