Gidget Layne Steiger of Federal Way died Feb. 24 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She was 37.

She was born Aug. 25, 1967.

Survivors include her daughters, Alexandria and Whitney; parents Cloyd and Irene Steiger of Federal Way; and siblings, Cloyd Steiger of Federal Way, Kim Lawrence of Shelton and Pattie Heggestad of Montana.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Vicki Spracklin.

Upon Ms. Steiger’s death, she donated six organs, including her heart, to help save the lives of others, her family said.

Graveside services are scheduled to be conducted at 3 p.m. March 18 at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup.
